Global Game Network

Do you have the economic savvy to build the wealthiest corporate conglomerate? On May 12, 2008, the first part of a three round Corporate Takeover tournament will begin. Scores from three back to back rounds will be used, and the top three players will win.

Scoring
Corporate Takeover scoring is undergoing a bit of a change. Previously, the top three players from each round logged a win. Everyone else essentially lost. Now, everyone will have an ongoing CT score that will carry over from one game to the next. Your performance in each round determines how many points you receive when the games ends. See the message board topic for a more detailed explanation of the new scoring system.

Schedule
Round 1:May 12 - May 21
Round 2:May 26 - June 4
Round 3:June 9 - June 18

Prizes
This is the best part. The band GraveSideService is donating copies of their debut album Master's in Lunacy, which has only been available in stores since January. GraveSideService started in 2004 in Cranston, Rhode Island, USA and their unique sound captures the essence of ceremonial black metal. Each of their live performances is a complete memorial service paying tribute to those who have passed on to the other side. The band members even arrive at their performances in a hearse. They typically play at local venues in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. If you're in the area, keep an eye out for upcoming shows. All four members of the band are also active participants on the Global Game Network.
