Players can receive medals, ribbons, and other awards in recognition for a variety of special accomplishments. After receiving an award, it will be prominently displayed on your profile page. Here are a few of the available awards and the accomplishments they represent:
 | Victory Star - This is awarded to every player after his first win in any scheduled game. |
 | Continued Victory Star - The Continued Victory Star is awarded after a combined total of five wins. |
 | Enduring Victory Star - The Enduring Victory Star is awarded after a combined total of 25 wins. |
 | Perpetual Victory Star - The Perpetual Victory Star is awarded after a combined total of 50 wins. |
 | Supreme Victory Medal - The Supreme Victory Medal is awarded to any player with at least one win in every scheduled game. |
 | Confirmed Member Ribbon - Players who confirm their accounts with a valid e-mail address receive this ribbon. |
 | Veteran Member Ribbon - This ribbon is awarded to all GGN members who have been active on the site for at least one year. |
 | Experienced Player Ribbon - This is awarded after a player has participated in a total of 100 or more scheduled games. |
 | Imperial Conflict Map Reviewer - These pips are issued to official Imperial Conflict map reviewers, who are able to grant approval on new map submissions. |
 | Colonial Frontier Champion Medal - This medal belongs to the current Colonial Frontier champion. If the owner of this award loses his championship, the medal is passed along to the new champion. |
 | Corporate Takeover Champion Medal |
 | Dragon Realm Champion Medal |
 | Galactic Command Champion Medal |
 | Imperial Conflict Champion Medal |
 | Strategic Domination Champion Medal |
 | World Power Champion Medal |
 | Chess Champion Medal |
 | Iron Level Contributor - Members who have contributed to the site at the iron level receive this medal of appreciation. |
 | Titanium Level Contributor - Members who have contributed to the site at the titanium level receive this more prestigious medal. |
 | Medal of Nobility - Members who have contributed extraordinary support to the site may receive this distinct award. Contributions may have been in the form of large monetary donations, large scale advocacy to potential new users, or other grand and noteworthy benefactions. |
